I used 3 packages of size 1 diapers from The Honest Diaper Co. That makes 132 diapers total to make this beautiful tower of a diaper cake. The pattern is the elephants and hot-air balloons with added flowers and ribbons to boot!

Diaper Cakes

I made this for my husband's cousin and his wife. They were having a boy and I thought I'd be different, because I saw these diapers with the jolly roger print on it and had this idea to do a pirate theme. I LOVE how it turned out and so did everyone else at the shower. My gift also included a scrapbook I made (in the treasure map bag) and other baby items in the treasure chest box. Just keep in mind the diapers used are from The Honest Diaper Co., much more expensive diapers than your typical pack of diapers, but it turned out so freakin' cute!

I had a customer who was hosting a baby shower and wanted a diaper cake. The theme was navy blue, gold and elephants. She asked if I could make an elephant, and this is what I came up for her. All diapers are usable except 2, the face and the tail I made. 90+ size 1 diapers, 2 bibs, 1 charger plate, googly eyes and ribbons.  It was the center piece and gift to mother-to-be and I was very happy to be sent pictures of everyone taking pictures with the beautiful diaper cake.

These cakes sit on a 12" silver plate charger and have almost 100 diapers! top layer are newborn size and the reset are size 1 and of course all diapers are usable. These diaper cakes range from $35 to $55 largely depending on type ribbon used and how many flowers and quality of flowers used and the availability of colors. As you can see you really can't tell the difference from these pictures, I can work with your budget.
